The Way Up

Developing Women Leaders to Enhance Iowa Higher Education

IOWAWHE - 2007

What is the Iowa Network for Women in Higher Education (IOWAWHE)?

The primary goal of the Iowa Network for Women in Higher Education is to facilitate the development of women leaders in higher education through conversations, collaborations, and mentoring across the state. IOWAWHE is affiliated with the Office of Women in Higher Education (part of the American Council on Education) and guided by a nine-member Board of Directors. The Network provides professional development opportunities for women leaders employed by Iowa’s colleges and universities. It promotes the visibility, recognition, and advancement of women leaders, and works with other partners to eliminate barriers to women’s achievement in higher education leadership.
